Please follow the step by step here if we want to build a Enterprise Portal with Dynamics AX 2012 ERP business process.
1. Validate system requirements
2. Select components for prerequisite validation
3. If Project Server 2010 is not installation we see the result list like
4. So we should download Hotfix for .NET 4.0 and Analysis Management Object then setup them. After that shoulddownload and configure Project Server 2010
5. After run prerequisite validations again we should "Configure for SharePoint Server Search 14 service startup type"
6. Start the Configuring prerequisites for SharePoint Server Search 14 service startup type
7. Configuring is well for SharePoint Server Search 14 service startup type
8. All items are successful with prerequisites validation results
9. Click on Microsoft Dynamics AX components
10. Must logged on with a domain account to run Microsoft Dynamics AS Setup
11. Can be find solution so can be setup Dynamics AX 2012 on a local machine
12. Run -> Regedit
13. Origin computer name from ActiveComputerName registry name
14. Click on Modify... of a ComputerName
15. Change computer name to ILoveJesus_123
16. The ComputerName after changed
17. Click con Microsoft Dynamics AX components again
18. Welcome to Microsoft Dynamic AX 2012 Setup
19. Accept license terms then click next
20. Choose Join the Customer Experience Improvement Program
21. File location for Dynamics AX 2012
22. Ready to install
23. Choose Single-Computer installation if we have only one PC or laptop
24. Some time we see the waring "Setup cannot automatically configure components because it is unable to determine default settings for some parameters"
25. Web site (Microsoft SharePoint Central Administration) error
26. Change back to the ILoveJesus computer name and must have join Domain to continue configure Dynamics AX 2012.
After join domain my laptop look like
27. Grant permission on SQL and SharePoint Farm for the account, then use a domain account to log on Server. Run Prerequisites validation again we see result is well for all, include Business Data Connectivity
And also well for Web site
28. Now run setup again and choose Custom Components
29. Select all Components
30. Prerequisite validation results is well so ready to install Dynamics AX 2012
31. Choose location for Dynamics AX
32. Create new database
33. Information for new database
34. Select additional models
35. Configure an Application Object Server (AOS) instance
36. Specify an AOS account
37. Accept administrator as an Application Object Server (AOS) account
38. Select client preferences
39. Specify Business Connector proxy account information
40. Configure a Web site for Help Server
41. Language and content selection
42. Specify the search crawler account
43. Configure a Web site for Enterprise Portal
44. Specify an Analysis Services instance
45. Specify a Reporting Service instance
46. Specify user accounts
47. Enter the password for the service account
48. Connect to a message queue
49. AOS accounts
50. Making a Project Web Application

52. And normally see the exception if we setup and configure SharePoint Server before join domain
53. And the Project Web Application can not run well with a local farm
54. So we must disconnect from the local SharePoint Farm, delete all database, SharPoint sites from IIS that relative with local SharePoint farm and also delete all the SharePoint farm virtual folder from C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss
And resetup and configure SharePoint Farm with domain account.
After Setup + configure Farm and Project Web App well we can continue
56. Configure IIS for web services
57. Specify an AOS account
58. Configure for SharePoint Search 14 service startup type and SharePoint Server Search 14 service started
59. Click on Start to configure
60. 56 items are well with Prerequisite validation results
61. Ready to install Dynamics AX 2012
62. Installing Dynamics AX 2012
63. Installing model 'Foundation' to the database
63. Configuring database properties...
64. Completing setup of Application Object Server (AOS). Performing additional configuration steps.
65. Some time we see exception like that if there is not enough memory and hard disk for the configuration.
Need at least available 5 GB RAM and 30 GB hard disk for the configuration of Dynamics AX 2012.
66. With my Core i7 laptop with 8 GB Ram, I must restart -> Remove the uncompleted setup then resetup and at the end I see the information
67. We will add the uncompleted component later. But now the Enterprise Portal can run well.
68. After add Office add-in components we see the result
